HTML templates work on any web host — even free ones like Netlify or GitHub Pages. You just need the ability to upload files.

Download & Unzip Your Template

Log in to your Client Portal and click Download ZIP.

Unzip the file on your computer. Inside you'll find:

  • index.html — Your entire website (single file)
  • README.txt — Quick reference instructions
  • Any included images or assets

Upload to Your Web Host

Option A — File Manager (cPanel, GoDaddy, etc.):

  1. Log in to your hosting control panel
  2. Open File Manager
  3. Navigate to your public_html folder (or www folder)
  4. Upload all files from the unzipped folder
  5. Make sure index.html is in the root of public_html

Option B — FTP (FileZilla, Cyberduck):

  1. Connect to your host using FTP credentials
  2. Navigate to the public web directory
  3. Upload all files

Option C — Netlify (free, recommended for tech-savvy):

  1. Go to app.netlify.com/drop
  2. Drag your unzipped folder onto the page
  3. Done — you get a free URL instantly

Open Your Site & Access the Admin Panel

Visit your domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) in a browser. You should see the template with default content.

To access the Admin Panel:

  • Look for the Admin or ⚙ Settings button (usually in the footer or a floating gear icon)
  • Enter the default password (check your README.txt)
  • The admin panel opens where you can edit everything

Fill In Your Practice Information

In the Admin Panel, update:

  • Practice Name — Your business name
  • Doctor Name — Primary provider
  • Phone & Email — Contact details
  • Address — Your office location
  • Office Hours — Weekly schedule
  • Services — What you offer (descriptions, icons)
  • Testimonials — Patient quotes

Changes save automatically to your browser. Click Save or Export to make them permanent.

Customize Colors & Design

In the Design section of the admin panel:

  • Colors — Primary, accent, background, text
  • Hero Image — Upload or paste a URL for your banner image
  • Logo — Your practice logo

Changes preview instantly. When you're happy with the look, make sure to save/export so the changes persist for all visitors.

Connect Your Domain (If Needed)

If you uploaded to a temporary URL or Netlify:

  1. Purchase a domain (e.g., from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains)
  2. Point the domain's DNS to your hosting provider
  3. Most hosts have a "Add Domain" section in their dashboard

Go Live!

Your site is ready. Quick checklist:

  • ✅ Practice name and contact info are correct
  • ✅ Services listed with descriptions
  • ✅ Office hours are accurate
  • ✅ Logo and hero image look good
  • ✅ Site looks good on mobile (test on your phone)
  • ✅ Contact form / email link works
